FAVORITE DOVE RECIPE SURVEY RESULTS
A couple of weeks ago, we sent out a survey about your favorite dove recipe. Scott's convinced that there are only about 3 recipes that U.S.hunters and home chefs use to prepare these dense, dark-fleshed air darts. The recipe he hears the most often is
..."you take your dove breast and soak it in teriyaki sauce for at least 3 - 4 hours, sometimes a day or two, and wrap it in jalapeno pepper, a chunk of cream cheese (or any other type of cheese) and wrap the whole thing in bacon. Stick a toothpick through it and slap it on the grill."
Now, make no mistake. We know that it tastes great, but we also know that there are a few other ways to cook doves, with or without bacon. For a few more ideas, check out
HuntFishCook.com and type in the keyword "dove".
